WHY I JOINED DTL???
I joined DTL because I wanted to surround myself with women who share similar goals and also broden my horizens to different cultures and experiances. I wanted to become a woman of ACTION in my personal and professional life, and I knew DTL was the right place where I can develop and grow. I love knowing that I have fierce sisters that I can learn from and develop life time friendships with. Being a part of this organzation has been wonderful and there are many years to come!!

"WHY I JOINED DTL??
I saw women who would not judge me for who I am, phenomenal women that helped me no matter my status. These women picked me to be their Scholorship recipient in fall 2011. After seeing these women in action at a Salute to Latinas/ Fuerza de la Mujer Latina event I knew this was the sisterhood I was looking for; a sisterhood that was independent with a mind of its own. That is why I am proud to be a phenomenal sister.
